Hi,
My 3300V is connected to the internet by way of a vigor 2800. I need to be able to VPN to the 3300V however, I can only VPN as far as the 2800, how can I overcome this issue?

Turn off the Vigor2800's VPN service (I'm assuming the V3300 doesn't have its own public IP address)

I have done that and am still unable to vpn to the 3300v (which does not have a public IP address)
I've unfortunately locked myself out of the 2800 having port forwarded the http port to a device behind the 3300v so now, unless I can find a way to VPN to the 2800 with a protocol other than pptp then I'm a tad stuffed.
My laptop runs vista home premium and I've been unable to work out how to vpn to the 2800 using say l2tp...
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Can you get to your 2800 by https rather than http?

As an aside...
I can connect to the 3300v by http.
I have set up a vpn connection on the 3300v
I have turned off pptp on the 2800.
Despite all of this I still can't create a vpn to this 3300v, vista says it can't see any reasons for not connecting
