Vigor2710 No remote access control? was created by lostinit
I have just put in a Vigor 2710, and I don't have the option to setup remote access control. I have put the NAT in fro PPTP but still the VPN won't work.
Doesn anyone have any suggestions? I either need PPTP turned off on the Vigor or I need to setup the VPN users on the Vigour.

Upgrade to the 3.3.0.1 firmware, that lets PPTP passthrough work, I think. You can get it from the www.draytek.com site.

Thanks! I didnt spot that, I only checked the UK site.
Which annex do I need?
I'm running:
Model Name : Vigor2710 series
Firmware Version : 3.3.0
Build Date/Time : Jul 14 2009 19:16:11
ADSL Firmware Version : 211801_A Annex A

But the 211801_A isn't there?

if 211801 isn't there, 232201 is the one to use.

I am trying to setup a VPN connection to my router which I can connect to from my XP laptop when I am away from home.

I have spoken to a friend who has the Draytek 2820 and he uses the VPN 'Remote Dial In User' page on his router.

My router, under VPN, only has three options these are IPSec Peer Identity, LAN to LAN and Connection Management. I upgraded to the latest firmware but it made no difference. I also noticed that my Wireless Firmware Value is 1.8.1.0

Should this Dartek model have these extra VPN options, as was my understanding when I bought it (reading the specs), and if so, how can I get to them?
