VPN Passthrough problem on 2820 with latest Firmware

I have a very strange problem with a 2820 running the latest Firmware (3.3.3_232201).

The 2820 setup is as follows (IP addresses have been changed for security reasons).

2820 has a static IP address from the ISP (e.g. 92.134.134.134)
The 2820 has "For IP Routing Usage" enable in the LAN General Setup.

The IP Routing is as follows:
IP 92.134.134.134
Subnet: 255.255.255.248

Behind the 2820 sits another router (LinkSys Cisco RV082) which has IP Address 92.134.134.129

Behind the Cisco router we have a Microsoft VPN Server Setup which accepts PPTP connections from the Internet.

This works all fine for about 1 or 2 days. Meaning that people can make VPN connections and stay connected for as long as they want.

After 1 or 2 days, this changes and the people can make a VPN connection, but the VPN connection is closed after x minutes (normally not more than 10 minutes).

This starts to happen without making any changes.

After investigating and work backwards from the VPN Server to the 2820 (rebooting every piece of equipment) we discovered that when we reboot the 2820 the problem is resolved for 1 or 2 days, afterwhich the problem starts again.

We had this problem with the previous firmware as well (3.3.2.1). But the firmware before we loaded 3.3.2.1 was 3.2.1.

Instead of dropping the VPN connections with Firmware 3.2.1 the 2820 would completly freeze up and a hard reset (power off and on) was needed to make it work again.

Okay you wonder why the setup of the 2 routers (2820 and RV082), well the setup is in a managed office and the 2820 is managed by the building management and the RV082 is managed by us.

So based on the information above, is there anybody that might be able to provide some help or useful tips on how we can resolve the problem?

That's a werid one. Sounds like you may want to contact support so that they can look into it further.

Thanks for the response.
I will try to get incontact with Draytek support and see what they say.

If I have anything new on this, I will add it to this posting.
