Hi.

i have been notcing a lot of this recently and wanted to see if anyone else was seeing this or managed to resolve it.

We resell Vigors (mainly 2820s) and various engineers have VPN connections to various customers.

Lately we are seeing many instances where a VPN client (Windows and Mac) will not connect and give an error that the VPN gate is down or not responding.

the next step is always to log into the specific router for that VPN to make sure the IP is correct and the router is alive.
in all cases immediately after logging into the web intercace of the router, the VPN connection is established.

on the surface it would appear that logging into the web interface *wakes up* the VPN gateway ?

anyone seen anything similar ?

Cheers.
Cid.
