Pah, you've hit the nail on the head. Just downgraded to fw3.3.3 and it's now working as expected.. traffic shows under 'class 1'.
Upgrade to 3.3.4 and everything goes under the 'others' class instead.
I love these routers but one day I'd like a firmware where everything works.
THANK YOU for making the suggestion - it did cross my mind but I honestly didn't seriously think that a bug like that would make it through.

This sort of thing happens regular! One thing fixed, something completely separate and working previosly broke.
It's the DrayTek way!

Aye, it's just that everything else was working fine......... and it's one of the very few occasions that I've had to bother with QoS so I ended up spending hours troubleshooting what I thought was a configuration / stupidity error on my part just for it to turn out to be a firmware bug.
Typical. Ah well, sods law.. it's sorted now and I'll e-mail support and report the bug when I've got a serial number handy. Right now, it's time for a pint.
