Hi,

Is there any way to control the subnet mask given to dial-in users?

Dial-in user (PPTP) appears to always get 255.255.255.0 subnet mask, I would like to change this if possible to 255.255.248.0
Also, the dial-in user gets allocated the DNS server settings from the router's ISP, not from the router's LAN, and I'd like to change that as well. The router LAN setting has the LAN DNS servers set correctly.

I'm using a Vigor 2800, firmware release 2.7.1

Thanks in advance,
Steve

When I say "appears to always get 255.255.255.0 subnet mask" I mean that an IPCONFIG/ALL command reveals a subnet mask of 255.255.255.255 but the behaviour of the client is as though its mask is 255.255.255.0.

That means that I can only see IP addresses in the 10.0.10.0 range and I need to see the whole 10.0.8.0 to 10.0.15.0 range.

Hope that helps,
Steve
