Dual Wan VPN's was created by allanmcc
Hi All

Can anybody advise me if it is possible to use both Wan ports for VPN remote access. All my remote workers use Wan1 but I would like to be able to dial in using Wan2 which has a much faster connection, but keep the others on Wan1.

Thanks for any advice.

Use the WAN2 IP address to connect as a dial-in user rather than WAN1's IP :) That should get you connected using WAN2

Which Draytek router are you using and what are you using for your second WAN2 connection?

If you are using a second ADSL on WAN2 then you may need to do some port forwarding to the main router.

That's a good point, if the WAN2 connection is going through another router, you'll need to check whether that router support VPN pass-through and use the 2820's WAN2 IP as the DMZ IP on that router.

Thanks guys, I am using the Draytek 2950 with Vigor 100 on Wan1 and BT's new Fibre Broadband on Wan2 with the connection coming directly from BT's Open Reach modem. I have not used their 2Wire Router.
