We are using XP clients to connect to a remote 2820. Using Smart VPN Client is not possible on the user machines. Setting up PPTP is relatively easy and works but is not the security solution we are wanting. We have to use L2TP/IPSEC. As a test we have run Smart VPN Client to test L2TP connectivity and that works fine, but cannot work out the XP client settings needed to do this. As a starting point we examined and tried to use the connection created by Smart VPN Client called To Vigor. This does not even connect to the 2820. In the Draytek guides they say the Smart VPN Client is just a dialler helper and wizard but the someone must have a walkthrough on creating the L2TP/IPSEC using the XP windows client.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
