I have 2 x 2955 firewall/vpn gateway devices. 1 at our HQ and 1 at a remote office. I have set the vpn up on both devices and it works fine the first time you connect in, but if you disconnect and then try and re-connect it doesnt make the connection!!! It can take hours before i can reconnect again... bizarre!!! Sometimes it seems like a reboot of my laptop is needed to get things going again.

This is a standard no frills vpn telecommuter connection (PPTP). I have tried a bog standard MS winXP & MS win7 vpn connection as well as using the Draytek Smartclient vpn software. I get the same results connecting into both sites using different 2955's with there own ADSL connections.

I have upgraded both 2955s with the latest firmware but its made no difference.... Im out of ideas now!

Anyone got any suggestions, help, or previous experience.
