Probably a simple problem.. LAN TO LAN clients cant ping was created by the_unknown
Hello forum,
a simple problem. Ive setup a basic VPN between the office and remote site.
Office: 192.168.1.x
Remote: 192.168.2.x
Now from the office, i found that the router on the otherside was given a local IP of 192.168.1.200 along with its local address of 192.168.2.1. Accessing that from the office gvies me access to its control panel interface. This means that the vpn is active.
However, when i connect a client remotely they cannot ping the office network at all. The client can't even ping the office router. If i ping from the remote draytek however it can ping the office network.
Any ideas, i must have missed somthing thats all.
Thanks,
The_Unknown

That's not right , check that on both ends , in the VPN configuration, TCP/IP Network Settings that 'From first subnet to remote network, you have to do' is set to Route and not NAT
