Hi,
We have a problem in setting up a site to site vpn with one of our customers (we have an IPPBX2820n):
1) They want us to use public ip addresses for the vpn traffic (presumably to guarantee uniqueness) and IPSec as the tunnel.
2) I acquired extra ip addresses from our ISP and set up the 2nd ip address in LAN>>General Setup with the relevant start address and subnet mask, configuring it to be routable.
3) Configured a PC in our Lan to use one of the public addresses and tested for internet connectivity etc.
3) Configured the VPN IPSec General and Lan to Lan properties.
4) Did a bit of surfing and research and configured the vpn 2ndsubnet and
vpn pass2nd commands to on in the router.
However when we try to connect, although we get level 1 authentication the tunnel fails because our router is supplying the proxy address of our (NAT) 1st IP subnet.
Has anyone any experience with this - or even a resolution?
Thanks
