Vigor 2710 to Vigor 2710 Lan to Lan was created by gavpop
Hello,
I am attempting to setup a LAN to LAN connection between two Vigor 2710s.
I havent been able to establish a LAN to LAN connection.
I initially started off using IPSEC, but due to very limited feedback from the syslog, I was failing to diagnose the problem.
So I am now using PPTP.
I believe I have setup everything correctly and I am at least seeing things happen in the syslog. This confirms that the two routers are talking to one another.
However, I am seeing "Local1.Notice *.*.*.* Vigor: Incoming Call Failed : No Such Entry for gav"
I have confirmed that the username/password on both ends of the link are the same.
I have a suspicion that its because I need to set one as the "dial out" and the other as the "dial in". But the Vigor 2710 router does not give me any option for setting this.
Could someone throw some light on this?
Is it even possible to setup a LAN to LAN connection between two Vigor 2710s?
Thanks,
Gav.

Ignore me - I've just discovered that the Vigor 2710 only supports outgoing VPN connections, not incoming.
Doh!
