IMAP across a VPN was created by robathome
Hi,
I have a couple of drayteks connected with a VPN and can see files in the office from home OK.
I can IMAP to the mail server in the office from the office, but from home I get Connection Rejected messages from the mail server. I have added the home IP range into the mail server's "trusted hosts" list.
As a general question - should IMAP just work across a VPN?
And more specifically is anyone using this OK with Drayteks - if so then I know it's a mail server config issue
thanks
Rob

And the answer is..... it's nothing to do with the VPN
And yes you can run it across a VPN
Was a mail server config problem
