VPN Trunk 2930/3100V was created by jannerman
Hi all,
I did have a search of the forums before posting this - so apologies if it's a repeat!
I have a 2930 (and 2 x V120s) at a remote site, and a 3100V at head office - I would like to setup a VPN trunk (we did have dual ADSL via 2800 series kit but need the VPN failover) but I can't find anything about how to go about this?
I have found a tutorial here but don't see how to setup a GRE ip on my 3100V, or for that matter have a clue what GRE is all about?!!
So two questions - if I may? 1) What is GRE 2) Do I need to use it for setting up my VPN trunks in this way
I thought I had it working in backup mode, but if I power off the Modem of WAN1 WAN2 does not initiate it's vpn - and I have tested both working in a standard configuration....I am getting confused!!
cheers

I do realise that I've already asked this once - but the question still stands - if any VPN gurus are out there any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
