OSX Lion (10.7) VPN to 2xxx series was created by oliverm
We're having problems connection any OSX Lion based machines to our 29xx series routers. We've tried an older 2910 and also a 2930 and a 2820. They all appear to have the same issue.
OSX Lion refuses to connect via PPTP or L2TP. However if you choose PPTP but disable the encryption then it connects and works fine, though clearly that's not a suitable option.
The same connection details work fine on Windows machines, but on the 3 or 4 lion machines we have tried we can't get anywhere.
Anyone else seeing this? Is this a known issue?

You say it works fine with a Windows pc?..if so, I'd guess the issue may lie with Lion. The advent of Lion does seem to break some things that used to work, Samba for instance, so maybe this is another "feature" of |Lion ;-|)
