Vigor 2830n VPN - Client to LAN was created by mmettam
I have successfully configured a PPTP and IPsec VPN's to my LAN network and all traffic flows through it.
However, for some reason the internal DNS domain name is being passed through to the VPN adapter?...
If you ping the servers IP address it ping fine... if you ping the FQDN of the server it pings fine also. But if you ping just the server name it fails and says no host fine???
I have configured many 2820n VPNs and the DNS name always get passed through correctly... but on the 2830n it doesn't???
Does anyone have any ideas?

Looks like the search domain is not being passed through. Not sure how you can resolve this, other than Draytek allowing you more options via DHCP.
