MS-CHAPv2 Success packet is badly formed was created by fbrumm
Hello, we have a 3300v+
Hardware Version : 1.0
Firmware Version : 2.6.3 (EN)
Build Date&Time : 2010-08-17 14:31:01
When PPTP authenticates locally it works fine with Windows, Mac and Linux.
However when we introduce a Windows 2008R2 using NPS as a Radius server; the windows clients connect just fine but the MAC and Linux clients get the following error:
pppd[3625]: MS-CHAPv2 Success packet is badly formed.
Any ideas?

Isn't MS-CHAPv2 a microsoft propriety technology? Does it even work on other operating systems?
Dunno, maybe someone can enlighten us.

Thanks for your post, MS-CHAPv2 on mac and Linux works with the router, just not if you introduce a Windows Radius server for authentication.
