Hey there

New to VPN but need to setup remote access to a NAS via the Draytek. I really am unsure of how to proceed and havent found the manual that useful. Could anyone recommend any on-line material that could help a beginner - I found http://www.draytek.com/user/SupportAppnotesDetail.php?ID=136 but that really confused me. I set up the tunnel and then .... I required access to files and this merely seemed to set a connection up to the router at ta level that couldnt use.

OK - got the VPN up and running but only using pptp, ipsec wouldnt work at all. Two questions if anyone could help

1) when I vpn into the draytec, other users on that office network can see notification that I am on their network. For reasons of bollox office politics, can I stop this and effectively not let them know when I am vpn'd in?
2) can anyone think why if pptp works, ipsec doesnt?

I have found that the Smart VPN 4.0.0.5 isn't too good, and the earlier 3.6.2 is much better, but then if I need a Windows 7 machine connecting... I think I have problems
