VPN Causing Headache - Internet Traffic was created by dlockers
Hi guys,
I have a VPN at site 1 -
10.100.64.0/24
I have a VPN at site 2 -
10.100.63.0/24
The Lan-to-lan works great, but the connection is very slow due to lack of bandwidth. We are using RDP/terminal services.
What we are trying to do is connect to the RDP session using the public IP.
The session fails to connect.
When you tracert the public IP, it goes to the Draytek and then straight to the public IP - 1 hop. Obviously this isn't possible, so it must be going across the VPN to get a successful ping.
Is there a way to force routes to the public IP to go straight to the internet?
Edit: In the routing table:
C~ x.x.x.x/ 255.255.255.255 is directly connected, VPN where x.x.x.x is the public IP we are trying to get to via the internet

have you opened the port on the public side and forward it to the Terminal Server?
You shold be able to use both intneral and external when the VPNS are up as along as the draytek is configured for it.
