LAN to LAN advice was created by luke_888
I am looking for adviCe on how others have set up similar networks.
I have a Draytek 2850 at one office and another 2850 at another office.
I have two servers at one location. The remote location needs to be able to access both servers.
LAN to LAN with IPsec and IKE authentication.
I have had to put the primary DNS on the remote Router as the server in the other office.
This makes everything grind to a hault.
I got told to disable quality of service and the bandwith limit on both routers which is suppose to help?
Also on the remote router I have put the Rip Direction to TX/RX both and left the drop down on route.
.......
Has anyone got any ideas on reducing traffic and to get the DNS to work?
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
thanks in advance

have you disabled the UDP flood defence?
I have a site where there is one SBS2011 serving DNS to several remote sites.
All are using LAN to LAN IPEC VPNS and the DNS works fine.
Disable the RIP as the routing info will never really change as its just one static site to site
