Hello everyone,

We ate my company have several (30+) Draytek routers, mostly from the 282x series deployed, all working very well, great uptime and service, etc.
However, as the users accessing them through the Internet increase, so do the manual VPN user connections.

Unfortunately, by default, Windows XP and Vista/7 (in our experience, at least) when creating a new VPN will activate by default the "Redirect Default Gateway" option, which when enabled directs all the user's traffic through our Datacenter line. After that, all unecessary traffic from them (Windows Update, Youtube, etc) will clog up the Datacenter access!!

This is very complicated for us since the available bandwidth is short and I must deploy some manual VPNs to clients where we cannot access to configure the VPN ourselves...

Is there a way to block all traffic non intended to the internal network? Some static route or something? Our internal network is a Class B.
Thanks in advance,

Ivo Pereira
