Possible to set up VPN with Android phone and Vigor 2820? was created by tivoli
Hi all
I want to set up my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) so that all data connections go through my home ADSL connection when out and about.
I assume that I would need to make use of the VPN capabilities of the router.
I'm not really sure how to do this and have searched the web but can't seem to find much.
I have a Vigor 2820 router and BT ADSL connection.
Any help or pointer greatly appreciated

BT? then possibly you wont have a static address but you could use a dyndns or similar service (or get a static address assigned by BT)
setup your dial in user on the router
setup the vpn account on your phone and in the advanced options enter the "forwarding route" as 0.0.0.0/0
then when your phone is connected to the vpn, do a whats my ip check and you should get BT IP
