Outbound VPN Clients (not Draytek) was created by andyhamp
All,

I have my router configured so that i can connect remote users and this all works fine.

What i have is a problem with Client machines in the Network that need to connect to another VPN. There are two clients, one a SSL based VPN works just fine. But the IPSEC one going to a very old CISCO vpn doesn't work. The client, connects and recieves the banner message from the remote server but no data flows down the tunnel. If the machine (a laptop) is connected from a different connection (3G modem or other DSL line) it works just fine.

Any thoughts ? Is there something in the Draytek that could be intercepting these IPSEC packets and discarding them ?

Thanks .. .Andy

make sure Firewall - DoS Defense - UDP flood defense is off, that could be blocking it

maybe try the latest firmware on the router too
