Setting up VPN on 2830 via another router was created by rigid_collision
I have a client who wants a classiv PPTP VPN tunnel between their two offices. The 'Head' office is using a vigor 2830n as it's primary router. (192.168.16.0)
The 'Branch' office is using a BT business router. (192.168.20.0)
They want me to set up a VPN Tunnel using a 2830n at the branch office to provide the permanent connection to the head office.

My question(s) are this: How do I set up the 2830n so that it gets its connection via WAN2 and what should I be doing with the existing router to ensure all VPN traffic (and therefor the VPN tunnel) is forwarded to the 2830n in such a way as it actually works! :)

Does the BT router support VPN.

Which end is initiating the connection?

The 2830 will do PPTP but it will need a user an password associated to it.
IMO it would be better doing an IPSEC VPN
