2850n - OpenVPN - iPhone was created by vini
Hey all,

I'm hoping to setup OpenVPN on my 2850n (3.6.6) so that I can connect to it using my iPhone.

My desire is to connect to home and receive Bonjour multicast packets. I understand that this isn't possible using IPSec (which I currently have working), but OpenVPN allows bridging making this possible.

Are there any guides/tutorials on setting up OpenVPN on the 2850, or is anyone able to offer any advice?

Cheers,
James

Aha, my 2850 was still running 3.6.4.1. I see in 3.6.6 OpenVPN support is no more..!

Is there anyway to get multicast/bridge mode working so I can potentially get Airplay over the VPN working??

I was sad to find openVPN dropped or non existent on my 2860.

Main requirement is for Bonjour and airplay/Itunes multicast.
