lan to lan vpn not working was created by bigmartyn
Hi All.
I have installed a new 2860 vigor and set up a dial in vpn for an exiting router at a different site i had. I simply copied the old settings.
i have a user and password and a destination IP along with remote network lan/subnet set on each firewall for the respective network. however it wont connect unless i remove the network IP details on the 2860 to 0.0.0.0
Whats frustrating is the lack of any log file to work out why its not working. i know its a reletivly simple thing to configure and i have triple ckecked and checked again.
any suggestions?

Hi part of the LAN setting are you changing?
My WAN IP
Remote Gateway IP
Remote Network IP
Remote Network Mask
Local Network IP
Local Network Mask
you leave the top 2 as 0.0.0.0 and just fill in the rest
Local Network and Mask should be in for you
