HI,

I am looking for some assistance \ guidance creating a LAN to LAN connection with a DrayTek 3300 to a Windows 2012 R2 Gateway . The gateway only supports ike version 2.

I have configured the connection and from a packet capture I can see the DrayTek is trying to establish phase 1 with IKEv1. Is there any way that I can set the DrayTek to use IkeV2 which is required by the windows 2012 r2 gateway.

I'm trying to get a Draytek 3900 to connect to a Dynamic Gateway in Windows Azure but its saying it only supports IKEv2 and I think the Draytek only supports IKEv1

Hi guys, the Daytek 3300 was last updated around 5 years ago, and therefor I don't think that will support ikev2 however the 3900 was last updated deember last year, what version of FW do you have installed?

I'm running FW 1.2.0 on the Draytek 3900 (latest as of Jan 2016)

In the Syslog it says that the remote host is trying IKEv2 (Draytek FW is running Linux OpenSwan under the hood) but the version of OpenSwan in the Draytek F/W needs to be v2.6.x or greater.

Thats what it says in the logs on my Draytek 3900

You can download the beta firmware version which will allow you to select IKEv2 for the following routers below:

Thanks for the links. I have just flashed my 3900 to 1.2.1 as I was told it would be in 1.2.1 (They sent me the beta also)

I note this looks like version 1.3.0? Just want to make sure I have it right
