Peer ID VPN was created by lectrician
I have to sites which use dynamic IPs. These lines are due to be migrated, so I don't want to change to statics on them.

Can I use Peer IDs to establish an IPSEC VPN tunnel? It asks for the remote IP or Peer ID. I have no idea how to use the Peer ID.

Any pointers?

Ta.

Get Dynamic DNS domains for both of the sites. If you don't mind an insecure VPN connection, use IPsec in aggressive mode and use a pre-shared key. Otherwise, set up a root CA and a certificate on each router, and then set up a certificate-based IPsec tunnel using main mode.
