2820 VPN Pass through was created by joneze
Hi, hoping someone could help before I pull the last of my remaining hair out.

I have a 2820 and I would like to configure PPTP to pass through to a VPN server. I have disabled the service on the router and I have opened the port. The connection is getting to my server but connection fails and the following is logged in the event viewer:

A connection between the VPN server and the VPN client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx has been established, but the VPN connection cannot be completed. The most common cause for this is that a firewall or router between the VPN server and the VPN client is not configured to allow Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) packets (protocol 47).

I understand the draytek should configure GRE when you open up PPTP 1723. I have tried using DMZ with the same results firmware is on 3.3.7.3 and the latest firmware doesnt seem to have any fixes related to VPN.

Thanks
