LAN to LAN same subnet was created by aaron.taylor
Hi,
I am trying to setup a LAN to LAN VPN with two networks on the same subnet. (192.168.1.x).
One site has a draytek 2830n v2 which has the option for "IPSec VPN with the same subnets".
The other site has a draytek 2830n which doesn't seem to have the option.
Is there any other way of getting this LAN to LAN configured without changing the IP subnet at one of the sites.

you should be able to do it from just one end but its messy - separate subnets are best practice

The link you have quoted is setup using "IPsec with the Same Subnets" on both routers.(only one router we have has that option).
I have tried doing this with just one router. As the 2830 does not allow for this.
When connecting using IPsec with the Same Subnets on only one router the LAN to LAN connects but drops out every few minutes which I presumed was going to happen anyway.
Any of suggestions?
