Vigor 2850 Firmware Upgrade caused VPN Fault was created by teksupportuk
Hi Everyone,

Not massively great with Routers but as an IT Company we tend to supply Draytek to any of our Business Customers.

We have a company that uses a Draytek Vigor 2850Vn.

They have a Windows 2012 Server using Essentials for VPN access. This all worked fine on initial setup.

The company was then having VOIP issues that the VOIP supplier couldn't understand / fix. I upgraded the Router to the latest firmware and the VOIP issue was resolved.

A few weeks later members of their staff were reporting VPN issues. I have tirelessly trouble shot everything Server and SSL related but no VPN joy.

I had this same fault on a similar Draytek Router with my own Windows 2012 Server VPN so changed to Cisco and fault was resolved. Is there something I could try? Can I downgrade the router? Is there a block VPN setting I'm missing somehow?

Hi Tek support,

Are you able to ping across the vpn at all?

So ping from site A to an ip on Site B? or the vpn not connecting at all

Regards

Matt
