I have a 2920 in play and want to start to use the teleworker VPN capabilities, I have successfully tested the basic pptp setup using the built in windows 7 client and this works seamlessly to provide a really good end user experience. However I understand there are security concerns about using only pptp due to the risk of man in the middle attacks resulting from the CHAPv2 vulnerability.

I have downloaded the Smartclient VPN to evaluate the L2TP IPSEC option however whenever I start the smartclient it prompts for admin credentials.

No end user has admin rights, so is there a way around this?

If not, what other options do I have to use VPN directly on the box that works well with Win7?
