Vigor 2860 and Fedora IPSec IKE was created by giacecco
Hi All, I believe I've setup correctly my Fedora 24 to be the client to a Vigor 2860 VPN using IPSec IKEv2, but I haven't managed to established the connection.
You can see athttps://gist.github.com/giacecco/a3181ce2c0bc0babc4f74c692d0eb333 the log created by Gnome's NetworkManager + libreswan as the connection is attempted ( journalctl -u NetworkManager.service -f ). I've read already on other forums that the "reapchild failed with errno=10 No child processes" error is irrelevant, so the issue must be on the Vigor's side, where at 07:25:27, as after being idle for 60 seconds, the connection times out and the VPN is never established.
Any suggestion? Thanks.

I forgot to write that, trying the same from Android 6.x using Strongswan's client, I get [IKE] peer not responding errors until it gives up, too. I have no reason to believe that the VPN is not active on the Vigor.

I don't think the Vigor 2860 series supports IKEv2 yet. It might do in a later firmware release but that's the obvious reason why that would not be working for you currently.
Try using IKEv1 instead, or use L2TP with IPsec if the VPN needs to have a username/password.

Any news on when Vigor 2860 will support IKEv2?
