I have two routers, one is a Draytek Vigor 2860n-plus, that I am very happy with. The other is a Draytek Vigor 2925Ln, which I am also very happy with, except one issue.

When I configure the VPN, just as in my 2860n-plus, I experience an issue with L2TP over IPsec. It works flawlessly on IOS devices, however whenever I try to configure any Windows clients (8.1, 10, 2008 server), it does not complete the connection. PPTP works fine, and also I have run a SSL too. I have compared settings with the 2860, and only seems to be this with the issue. I have tried using both standard Windows, and the Draytek Smart VPN client, which looks like it connects, but then fails when trying to obtain a network address (I'm guessing here, I should setup the USB for logs I suppose!).

Could this be a firmware issue, as there has not been a release for a while?
