PPTP Passthrough not working? was created by juleswilko
I've now got two 2860's where the PPTP pass through isn't working.
At first I thought it was the ISP at one site.
But a different site, with a different ISP, I'd just upgraded their 2830 to a 2860 and now the PPTP VPN's have stopped working.

Latest firmware on both routers, and no joy.

Tried both NAT and Open Ports for 1723 and indeed, GRE... and no joy...

Anyone had similar?

Okay - Just done some further testing with Cryping.
Basically opening port 1723, or port redirecting 1723 does not pass through the DrayTek.

Turn PPTP on with the DrayTek, and you get a ping result. Turn it off, and it "doesn't pay attention" to the port forwarding rules.

But the port forwarding works for 80, 443, 25 etc.

So - is there a new buried setting that anyone has seen? (Or not)

Disable the PPTP VPN service on the DrayTek, otherwise the DrayTek with not allow GRE to pass.

VPN and Remote Access >> Remote Access Control Setup >> Enable PPTP VPN Service <--- Uncheck this!
