Hi guys, first post here, but I'm sure not my last.

I am struggling to set up my VPN on my 2760. I have tested and got working a PPTP network, no issues, but want to use L2TP with IPSec.

Everything i read online say go to VPN and Remote Access >> IPsec General Setup to set the pre-shared key, but on my 2760 there is no option for this? In the side menu, it simply isn't there. Can anyone help me with setting the pre-shared key on a 2760?

There's more than one version of the 2760...

The option you have been looking for, applies to inbound IPsec - and the UK version only supports Dial-out. See: http://www.draytek.co.uk/products/soho/vigor-2760

The Pre-shared key for Dial-out VPN is entered in the Dial-Out Settings section of the LAN to LAN profile (the box is only active if L2TP with IPsec Policy is set to "Nice to have" or "Must").

(I don't own a 2760, but did a screen shot from the 'Emulator' at http://eu.draytek.com:12760/ - despite the 'eu' in the URL, this doesn't seem to be the UK model)

But presumably, PPTP doesn't work INBOUND either...

I think you can use SSL VPN for inbound.
