I have just got my new 2862 and am trying to setup VPN access.

I have tried all sorts of combinations and nothing seems to work. I have followed all the guides ect but still have not managed to get anything to connect.

I'm not a total beginer having setup an L2TP/IPsec pass through to my vpn server running on my synology box but figured as the router supported VPN I would move it to there.

I'm using an Samsung S8 phone running Android 8 as the client.

I'm going back to basics and trying the Smart VPN Android client but it gives very little info of why it can't connect and i dont see anything in the VPN syslog that might help. It just says connecting and then disconnected.

Really getting frustrated with this as i came back to Draytek as it provided a non wireless, vpn server capable router, with a lot more flexability than a standard consumer VDSL router.
