2862 SSL VPN Packet loss and latency was created by simrgrs
Hi,
I have a 2862, enabled SSL VPN which is bound to WAN1 (VDSL) which is a block of 8 IP addresses.
DHCP enabled on LAN1 and Remote dial-in user account has been setup with LAN 1 assigned.

Using the SmartVPN client on Windows 10 the SSL VPN connects fine to the router's WAN IP, takes a minute or so for authentication to take place, once authed the connection comes up and can ping to internal addresses on LAN1 however packet loss occurs and ping timeouts with high latency making the SSL VPN practically unuseable.

I have tried to setup L2TP/IPSEC instead but this doesnt even connect giving a ppp shutdown and L2TP timeout message.

If anyone has any ideas on what the cause of these issues might be and any possible fixes that would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance

Simon
