Could a site-2-site VPN affect general internet connectivity?

Ah, so none of what I said before is applicable :(

May you could test your VPN theory, by leaving it disconnected, except when you actually need to use it? (At this point, I'm sure you're going to tell me the 2862 does the 'dialling'...)



Trouble is the VPN is how their 24/7 CCTV cameras work, which record to my locally hosted Blue Iris CCTV Server. I know it's not a fix, but maybe a auto reboot schedule is the answer.

Still not sure if and if so, why the VPN would be to blame though, as internet traffic should not go down the VPN tunnel; unless it's messing up the default route when it goes wrong though.
