Vigor 2866 - certain sites through VPN

Hello,

I have just bought a Vigor 2866 - it will be my first DrayTek router - and have read that it's possible to route certain websites through a VPN (the router acting as a VPN client).

I've logged onto the demo site (as I'm waiting for the router to be delivered) and I can't see that there would be any option to directly do this. Would anyone be able to advise on how I can do this, please?

Many thanks in advance!

Welcome to the world of Draytek routers. What you're trying to do involves 2 steps:

1. Setup the LAN to LAN VPN to the target of your choice. Here's a guide using IPSec as the transport:

2. Create a routing policy to selectively route traffic down that VPN tunnel. Here's a guide for that. Just substitute WAN for VPN in this guide

Nb: You'll need the Draytek to be name server for #2 to work. If you're using external Name Server like Google, Cloudflare or a local PiHole, it won't work.
