Add 2nd WLAN to existing 2900G network was created by wishy
I have a trusty Vigor 2900G which runs my wireless network to my laptop and phone (WPA2). It also connects my main machine (CAT5) and a printer (USB). All of this works fine but we now have a Nintendo DS in the house which will only work over WEP.
I'm loathed to downgrade the security on the rest of my network so would like to add a second wireless router of some desciption to run WEP. This second router would just plug into the ethernet port of the 2900G.
What's my best (for this read cheapest Draytek) option? Will an AP-700 do this?

In order to illustrate I've added a picture to show what I want to do.
The bit in red is what I'd like a recommendation for.

You just need an access-point where you show router 2 and have mac address filtering to only allow the DS to connect via WEP and a firewall if your that worried about security.
I have a 2820n and can have multiple wireless networks on the same device.

8) That'll do nicely. I'm not that bothered about the security for the DS to be honest as it will mostly be just for a six year old playing games. As long I can keep the WPA2 on my existing components.
Unfortunately my 2900G will only support one wireless network at a time.

How about the rest of your network, once you add an AP with WEP
BTW I have seen Homeplug devices with an access-point built in, but they aren't Draytek.

Hmmm thinking about it that way, does that mean I might as well just stick the 2900G to WEP for everything as the overall security level would remain the same as having WPA2 on the 2900G but WEP on a separate access point?
If so then I'll just not allow the DS to connect to the network. The owner of the DS doesn't know that facility exists anyway and won't unless I tell him!
