Isolate LAN Wifi was created by carldean
Hi all, sorry if this has been discussed before.

I want to simply give some guest Wifi access on a second SSID on a 2820n. The problem is the Isolate LAN option is missing. I think I am probably missing something obvious here.

FW is 3.3.3_232201

I am limited on my access to update FW so hopefully this is not the case!

Any help much appreciated. Carl.

It got moved to the LAN - VLAN section in the newer firmware :)
You can setup VLAN0 to have all the LAN ports and SSID1 and VLAN1 can have SSID2 to separate them.

thanks. I have tried this and the 2 vlans are isolated. the problem i have is that the dhcp is disabled on the router and my dhcp server is on vlan 0. how can i tell the router that all devices connecting on vlan1 (i.e all my guest Wifi devices) should all get their IP configuration from the router.

regards
