AP-700: LAN bridged to wifi with Universal Repeater mode? was created by philr
Please could someone tell me whether the LAN port of the AP-700 is bridged to the wireless network when running in Universal Repeater mode? I've checked the manual, but it doesn't say what the LAN port will do in this mode. I'm looking to use the AP-700 to act as both a wireless repeater / range extender and to connect wired devices to it (via a switch). The AP-700 will connect wirelessly to an existing wifi network.
Thanks,
Phil

It does, you can definitely plug something into the LAN port once the UR connection is up and access the network that way. There's station infrastructure (wireless client) mode as well if you dont want the AP functions after making that connection.
