2830n SSID2 to LAN2 was created by thekingster
Hi
No flaming for this please as its prob an easy answer
I have a Draytek 2830n and I am using wan and wan2.
I have a lan 192.168.100.X and a lan2 192.168.50.X
I have SSID1 and SSID2
I want SSID2 to be assigned from the LAN2 subnet and use the WAN2 port
Of course then SSID to be assigned from LAN1 and use the WAN1 port.
Basically I have a home office and the other people in my house want to use SSID2 and go out of my non business WAN. I don't want them to use my business WAN because of potential viruses and blacklists.
I then will route certain traffic over wan2 even if on SSID1 such as port 80
I currently have this working but by having a netgear router in WAN2 and running the 2nd SSID off the Netgear. This allows me to route certain traffic from 192.168.100.X through WAN2 to the Netgear then out. Works great but want to make things simple and only have one router as sometimes the wireless drops on both.
Any advice appreciated
Cheers
Dave
