My Understaning (which may be wrong)

That the Ap-700 would boost the wirless signal from my Draytek 2830n
So i could basically use the AP-700 as a wireless connection to the Draytek 2830n with out a Network Cable.

Laptop >>>>WIRELESS>>>> AP-700 >>>>WIRELESS>>>> Draytek 2830n >>>ADSL>>> Internet

Setup - Universal Repeater
Ive followed the Guides and instructions.
But for what ever the reason (my Understanding??) or Configuration problem I can Access the Internet via the Draytek 2830n Without issue Wirlessly.
But can not Access the Internet via the AP-700, but i can Access the local network. (No Cable)

Or do i need to have a lan cable attached to enable to access the internet ?

Or could anyone tell me the set up to boost the signal from the Router to the Access Point without a Cable.

I was having the same issue, reset my routers to factory setting then did the setup again and followed the info in this guide:

worked a treat.

This is my Goal.

I have a few other links from these forums from 2009, with similar problems.
Not sure if i can restore to factory default as the router 2830n is configured Now.
I assumed buying the AP-700 would be painless.

I will have a good look over the weekend and when i get back Home will add the links i found.
The Problem is not resolved, but ive read Bind to MAC could be the problem, which is a problem as
i use Bind to Mac for Wake on Lan. .. .

Ok its working,

I disabled the Bind Pc To Mac
It was set to Enabled, so im going to have to dig a bit deeper and see if I can enable both, but I suspect im going to have to change the mode to AP as I do have a Lan I could plug in.

So I will test a little more at the weekend.
