2830n Wireless Issues was created by evoman91
Hi all,
I have a 2830n which as been working fine for two months, earlier my wireless network connection dropped and wouldn't come back on any device. I have tried the following which hasn't resolve my issue:
Restarting the router
Turning off access control
Toggling the wireless on and off from the web interface
Resetting to factory settings
Changing wireless security mode
Changing SSID
Changing wireless channels
Updating firmware
Using the AP Discovery tool in web interface doesn't list any access points, other wireless devices can see other access points.
Is there anything I could have over seen or does anyone have any ideas, while I wait for support to get back to me? I don't believe it is a configuration issue as it was been working correctly since I brought it.
Kind Regards

I would suspect a loose connection in the router. On one of the earlier models I seem to remember the wirless card used to work loose. Dont know if the 2830 has a separate card or not but it worth having a look also check the aerial connections they also have a tendancy to work loose.

I have the high gain antennas (ANT-1005) so I tired the original antennas but with no joy. Any idea how long support generally take to reply to an email?

I am having identical issues with a 2830 and external antennas as the router is in a rack.
Did you get an answer on this?
Thx

It's being replaced. Does yours work with the original antennas? Does it work out of the rack? If it does work out of the rack it could be that the rack is acting like Faraday cage.
