VigorAP700 aeriels was created by vadimo
Hi,
I hope to get some advise on my current installation: big house with 3 x VigorAP700 workin as universal repeaters and 1 x router 2830Vn. Each repeater is allocated per floor and coverage is average.
To attempt improve i purchased 3 x ANT-1107 aeriel but not sure about the fitting them as VigorAP700 has 2 Aerials and im not sure which does what.
please advise
Thank you

The best thing you can do is run a Cat5e Network Cable back from Each of the AP700's to your 2830. Then have each device as a wirelesss access point on a differenct Channel, but all with the same SSID and security settings.

yes of course cable way is best but i cant start running cables in this house. I always wondered if such setup will work well: will it disconnect me on WiFi if i move between floors? What i like about my current setup is that no matter where i move it will always stay connected
your opinion?

Well that's really great - sounds like a good result. I always keep aerials matched for even results.
Best regards,
Neal
