Wireless Disabled Itself!!?? was created by woreod
We have a number of 2820n and 2830ns which we maintain remotely and occasionally find the Wireless is not enabled (but was working previously).

We are the only ones who know the login password, and when we go in, everything else is working normally including the ADSL connection so I'm ruling out a Factory Reset.

Any ideas as to how this can happen?

Thanks in advance.

There is an on/off button on the front panel of the 2820n, could it have been pressed accidently?

I look after several 2820n and have never suffered WiFi switch off, but all the units are securely housed to prevent interference from people who don't know what they are doing!!

I now suspect the WDS was left enabled (setup technician has been chastised!), and the "IT knowledgeable(!)" user just kept pressing the WDS button to try and force a connection.......
