VigorAP 800 + RADIUS was created by andre77
Trying to configure VigorAP 800 to do 802.1x authentication.

Operation Mode : AP
General setup: 2 SSIDs - 802.11 b+g+n
first SSID configured as Mixed(WPA+WPA2)/PSK - works fine
2nd SSID configured as Mixed(WPA+WPA2)/802.1x, TKIP/AES, using the internal RADIUS server (I first tried with a Windows Server but the AP wouldn't even send packets to the server). Clients (Windows 7) see the SSID as WPA2 entreprise but fail to connect (don't even prompt for a password).

- Should it work without any manual setting on Windows 7 client side?
- Is there any limitation in using 802.1x on a second SSID? Or other limitation when using RADIUS?

Thanks

I have exactly the same problem. If encryption on ssid2 is set to 802.1x/WEP the client gets a request for username/password (which always fails) repeatedly. Using any other 802.1x encryption produces no response at all.
I cannot find any evidence of anyone getting the internal Radius server to work, but many hours of frustration getting nowhere. No-one from Draytek seems interested in this problem.
