Hi,

I have been using a BT Home Hub and AP700 combination with the SSID on both devices set to be the same and the AP700 in Repeater mode. This has worked fine for 18 months or so and devices have apparently seamlessly switched to the device with the strongest signal as I've roamed around the house.

I have had to ditch the BT hub as it did not work correctly with my Mitel iPhone and have replaced it with my old 2820. Now I cannot get the AP700 and 2820 to work correctly with the same SSID. If I switch them to different SSIDs then devices do not release the weaker signal and automatically connect to the stronger signal as I roam around the house.

Can anyone give me a pointer as to what I'm missing here? Surely this is a fairly straightforward setup?

By the way, the AP700 is not connected to the 2820 by CAT5 and doing so is not an option.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
